How to play

A round is simple: grab the ball, get under or near the hoop, jump, and shoot. Defence matters as much as offence, because jumping into the shooter at the right moment can knock the ball loose. Whoever is ahead when the clock runs out takes the match.

Tips

• Do not shoot the instant you leave the ground. Wait until you are near the top of the jump, which is when the ball has the best chance of dropping in.
• Stay between the opponent and your own hoop. Jumping early to block usually costs you more than it gains.
• Close to the rim is more reliable than a long shot. Get in close for easy scoring and keep the long attempts for when the clock is nearly gone.
• Playing a friend is more fun than playing the computer, and it is the best way to learn how the physics behave.
